Programs
At Hooray for Books we offer educational enrichment programs specifically designed to teach young children to read with a side of cooking! The primary goal of our program is to have each child enjoy, understand and appreciate quality literature in a challenging and stimulating environment. The classrooms are spacious, whimsical, inviting, and developmentally designed for young children.
No School Day Mini Camps – Starting Sept. 29th and on many other no school days we will be holding our wildly popular No School Day Camps. We listened and made these “camps” longer too! Open to ages 3 yrs. – first graders we love siblings. Join us 9:30-12 or 12:30-3.
K Stay Wrap-Around w/ bus service for FALL / September 2011. Turn your 1/2 day into a full day. Please email mary@hoorayforbooks.com for availability! We’ve reduced our rates for the 2011-12 year! K Stay classes start Sept. 1st
Our weekly classes are offered to our youngest Toddlers in the Kitchen up to our after school First Grade Book/Cook Club. You can join us for 6 or 12 week sessions, your choice!
K-Stay is a great complement to any half day kindergarten program. Challenging, yet fun reading lessons are mixed into science and cooking activities, baking up one-of-a-kind curriculum you won’t find in the public schools. Now offering after-school classes for full day K kids too.
On No School Days, Early Release Days and School Vacations we offer morning and afternoon “Mini Camps” for children 3 years old to first grade. Please check the schedule page to view current offerings. In addition our mini camps are offered all summer too!
For our older kids we offer cooking classes (ages 7-9) during the summer as well as Friday Night Fun Nights (ages 5-9) on select Friday nights from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
