Mary, this is great. I never had Aunt Helen’s recipe for pumpkin pie. I’ll try it right after I get back home to CT. (I’m in FL right now.) And you are right about Aunt Helen. She was very special. Your Aunt Gail painted a beautiful image of her life at the funeral Mass. She was among the first feminists!

Phew! I was already tired, but after reading your post I am exhausted. I know exactly how you feel and also wonder why the schools overlap everything all at once and some on the same night. If only there was time for that bath. One of my favorite things about summer is not having too many organized activities where we need to be somewhere at a certain time. I try to keep those to a bare miminum. The nice thing about this summer is my son can drive himself to all his soccer games. Yay!
