You can “have your cake and eat it too” when it comes to creating a happy student!

At Hooray for Books we  offer  classes, vacation week/day camps and spectacular birthday parties aimed at turning “regular” children into AVID READERS and chefs! Imaginations RISE as they are introduced to engaging literature tied into ever-changing themes. Our chefs  then SIFT through new learning challenges posed to them. And finally, we BLEND it all together by making a masterpiece in our classroom kitchen.

Our secret ingredient? We use humor (by the cupful) to make the  learning come to life so that each student leaves with a delicious and lasting memory of the lesson and the learning! All this while mom/dad takes advantage of 90+ minutes of usable time!

*PLEASE  NOTE: Mary Murphy, the founder and a mom of 5, has taken her apron off for a while! A fire at the facility (caused by a car parked outside) devastated the space physically and Mary emotionally.  Add in that her husband BRIAN HERR is running for US Senate this Nov 4th in MA and she decided to take a break before rebuilding.  We are actively looking for a biz partner to relaunch HFB! Thx for your understanding and…

“Don’t vote for him.  Vote for HERR!”

Located in Hopkinton, MA not far from Rt 495.  Please note that we have moved all operations to our 31 Elizabeth Road location.  Classes, camps and birthday parties will be held here until further notice.

What’s Cooking!

*Last spring  a FIRE started in a car parked outside of HFB.  Sadly, the fire spread to our facility and  our classroom was destroyed. We will not be re-opening until January 2015.

Hooray for Books is a bright, happy place.  The teachers are knowledgeable, friendly and a little bit silly, encouraging the kids to learn new things like finding letters in a recipe or baking Mother’s Day treats in little flower pots.  Anytime it’s a HFB day – it’s a good day!  –Lisa C.
